This Privacy Policy describes how Dressr ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Dressr mobile app. By using Dressr you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You authenticate using Sign in with Apple. We receive your Apple account identifier (a stable opaque ID) and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We do not receive your full name unless you provide it. We store the Apple identifier server-side along with a Dressr-issued user ID (UUID).
If you choose to use the virtual try-on feature, we ask for a self-described body profile so the generated image is more realistic: height range, body build, skin tone, hair description, and gender presentation. You can edit or delete this profile at any time. The profile is stored in your account and is sent to the image-generation provider with each try-on request.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, expiration dates, transaction identifiers, and event timestamps from Apple via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
With your permission, we read your device's coarse location to fetch local weather conditions via Apple WeatherKit so we can tailor outfit suggestions to the day's weather. We do not store your precise location; only summarised weather data ("hot", "rainy", etc.) is associated with calendar entries.
We share data only with third-party processors that help us run the app. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. The processors we use are:
Each processor is contractually bound to use your information only to provide its service to Dressr. We do not authorise them to use your data for their own purposes including advertising or model training.
Your garment photos and (if you opt in) your body profile — including the selfie you supply for virtual try-on — are sent to Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Replicate to generate the AI features described above. Which provider handles a given studio render can change as we tune quality and cost; all three are covered here so the disclosure holds either way. We instruct these providers not to use your inputs to train their general-purpose models. However, third-party providers manage their own data retention policies for transient processing — we recommend reviewing Google Cloud, OpenAI, and Replicate's policies if you want full detail.
Your wardrobe data is retained for as long as your account is active. Crash reports and analytics events expire on Firebase's default schedule (currently 14 months for analytics, 90 days for crash data). Subscription and purchase records are retained for up to 7 years for accounting and tax purposes.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from the You tab → Delete Account. Deletion removes:
Subscription and purchase records are retained as described above. Anonymous analytics events cannot be retroactively associated with you after deletion.
Dressr is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
Our servers are located in the United States. Some processors (Google, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Replicate, Firebase) may process data in other countries. By using Dressr, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have different data protection rules than your home country.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS for all network traffic, encrypted-at-rest storage for photos (S3) and database (RDS), JWT-based authentication, and access controls on our backend. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email. Continued use of Dressr after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
